A selection of bait is included on 4 hour trips. Bait is NOT included on 8 hour trips. If you are not bringing your own bait Tommo can bring bait down to the boat for you if you ask and then it can be paid for at the end of your trip.
The outstanding balance can be paid in a number of ways. Either via the link on your booking confirmation email, by PayPal (a scalable QR code is on the boat) or in cash. Cards are not accepted on the boat.
Tommo will make a number of teas and coffees throughout the day. Soft drinks and food are not provided so please bring your own.
Dress according to the day’s forecast and always be aware that a sea breeze can reduce the feel of the temperature. Wear comfortable footwear according to the weather conditions. No studded fishing boots.
Yes. Lorna Doone is fitted with a manual flush toilet.
Tommo will message you a code for the marina gate close to the time of your trip.
Let yourself into the marina with the provided gate code and come on down to the boat. Tommo will let you know prior to your trip which berth Lorna Doone will be on.
Lorna Doone is licensed to carry 12 anglers/passengers.
Throughout the year the Bristol Channel is a wonderful location for some great mixed fishing. There are 4 types of Ray (Blonde, Thornback, Small-Eye’d and Spotted) as well as Eels, Smoothhounds, Bull Huss, Bass, Spurdogs, Tope, Cod, Dogfish and Whiting. It is also possible to enjoy a multi species day where downsizing the end tackle can see in addition to the above mentioned species others such as pollock, mackerel, turbot, rockling, bream, gurnard, poor cod, wrasse, trigger fish and more.
